Amer Sports, the international company behind the Wilson sports brand, will once again be sponsoring Colette Sultana, the promising 12-year-old Maltese player.

Gordon Asciak, on behalf of Tennis Promotions Co. Ltd as local distributors of Wilson, presented Colette with new Wilson rackets and other squash-ware.

Asciak said that he continues to be impressed with Colette’s dedication, her consistent improvement and with the string of prestigious results that she has achieved at European level.

Colette has participated in four international tournaments with great success. In her first international tournament last year in Vienna she finished fourth. Colette won the plate in the English Junior Grand Prix last October and then Bronze in the Swiss Junior Open in December.

With the Silver medal achieved in the Austrian Junior Open last March, Colette managed to reach 11th place in the European rankings in the Under 13 girls category and is now looking to make it to the top 10. She will be taking part in the Italian Junior Open in June.
