Malta was beaten by the strong Polish outfit 16-29 yesterday at The Hibs Ground.
The start was very balanced but on eleven minutes Banaszek scored a try and conversion to put Poland 7-0 in front.
A Paul Marzella penalty made it 7-3 on 23 minutes but Poland increased their lead with another try and conversion by Miskeiwicz. Another penalty by Paul Marzella made it 6-14 at the end of the first half.
At the start of the second half Poland continued to pile the points with a penalty scored by Juri Buhalo, and another try and conversion for a 6-22 scoreline.
On 33 minutes another Paul Marzella made it 9-22, but Zorawski and Banaszek scored a try and conversion for a 9-29 deficit.
Just before the final whistle Malta scored the first try and conversion through Luke Vella and Paul Marzella for a more respectible scoreline.
