May I take the opportunity of your newspaper to heartily thank the Mission Fund for the generous donation which I had received for our Mission in Tunis.

With this money we are going to help certain families who are really in need. Our priority to help them is to buy the books for their children. School-books are very expensive.

Then there are many who knock at our door to help them buy medicine or to see a doctor. Here we have many refugees who come for help. Others ask us to help them to arrange their houses or to provide food for them.

May I appeal for the generosity of Maltese people to help the Mission Fund in one way or other, by sending money donations, used stamps and telecards, and so on, so that the Mission Fund can continue to help Maltese missionaries who are working in the Third World Countries.
