The Malta Football Association has installed a brand new scoreboard (photo) at the Centenary Stadium thanks to a sponsorship granted by Bank of Valletta. This is the first time that this stadium is being equipped with an electronic scoreboard.

“True to what has been promised, all the teams playing in this stadium are experiencing state of the art turf, fully certified by UEFA as a two star pitch. It has been clearly shown that the level of play has also moved up a notch with entertaining matches every weekend guaranteed,” said Dr. Joe Mifsud, President of the MFA.

The Malta Football Association did not rest on its laurels and continued to further enhance the playing experience by installing a new electronic scoreboard, which has been financed through a sponsorship from Bank of Valletta. This has now been tried and tested during last weekend’s BOV Third Division Section A match, between Fgura and Siggiewi, won by Siggiewi 0-1.

“We would like to thank Bank of Valletta for their support which has helped us to make further improvements at the Centenary Stadium,” concluded Dr. Mifsud.
