I refer to my letter Privileged road closure (TMID, 8 May), to which there has been no reply.
Has anyone noticed how selective ADT or indeed Minister Gatt are when it comes to enforcement or actually replying to a citizen’s complaint? Is it a case of two weights and two measures, because when it came to a particular restaurant in Gozo, action was demanded of ADT to take immediate action?
He even published his directives in all the media. In the meantime, a restaurant in St
Julian’s has now built a canopy half-way across Church Street!
It’s unbelievable: Public land given away on a platter, resulting in bad traffic management and absolute chaos, with vehicles reversing back to the Hilton roundabout endangering pedestrians.
Minister Gatt on your way to Gozo, please take a walk-about, perhaps this weekend!
