This season’s Premier Division title of the H2Only Mixed League was assigned at the end of a five-match series between the top two local clubs – Pawla Wolves Assikura and Birkirkara BC.

Fresh from their recent successful outing in the MOC Mediterranean Friendship Games, where they formed part of the Malta squad that defeated their Sicilian opponents both in the Team Event as well as in the individual Mixed Doubles competition, the players of Pawla Wolves similarly made no mistake in their final league fixture by defeating B’Kara BC 3-2 to convincingly take the five-match series with an overall 4-1 scoreline.

This is the second consecutive Premier Division championship title for the Paolites, under the experienced guidance of Franz Vella.
