On the tenth anniversary of their foundation La Salle AMC had an enviable season so far succeeding to win the MHA Cup and most important the league, where they managed to win all their games. After missing out on the Super Cup, everybody realised that La Salle were the team to beat this year.

Their games were always entertaining to see with a very strong defence and good, fast transitions in attack. Their attacking power was visible to all and their speed and power resulted in high scoring games.

During the first round Kavallieri Shireburn managed to keep up with La Salle but started losing ground in the second turn of the league.

Aloysians Prominent always gave a hard time to La Salle but the league champions always managed to outscore their archrivals with the mere goal.

D6 Riu Seabank were never in the title contention but managed their performances improved greatly in the last round.

On the girls side the campaign started well with La Salle Vitality winning the MHA Cup and everything augured well for their league campaign.

During summer they had managed to secure two important signings and after winning the MHA Cup were hopeful of securing the league as well.

During the league, however, Aloysians were the better team and retained the league for yet another year.

Ta’ Xbiex Kavallieri ASC and D6 Living Well were just supporting actors in the sporting duel between Vitality and Aloysians Veneziani Croissant but like their male counterparts managed to improve their performance as the league neared his end.

The handball enthusiasts now look forward to the last show of the season: The APS Bank Knockout tournament, which – as per tradition – reserves surprises especially from the underdogs.
