The Miles Express 1st Division player of the month for the month of April was won for the second time this season by Bupa Luxol’s player Marco Matijevic. In April Bupa qualified for the league final which eventually they won last week. They also won the Bank of Valletta Knock-Out after a final against Depiro. Matijevic contributed for these results by scoring 81 points. Marco Matijevic is the season's absolute rebounder with an impressive total of 447 rebounds averaging 15.41 rebounds per game. He was presented this award by Mr. Ottavio Terribile Vice-President of the MBA.
