Bank of Valletta, title sponsors of the BOV Premier League, has presented a commemorative poster to this year’s champions, Valletta F.C.

“This is the third consecutive year that Bank of Valletta is sponsoring the BOV Premier League and we are keeping our tradition of presenting a commemorative poster to the champions,” said Michael Galea, Executive Head at the CEO’s Office, Bank of Valletta when he presented the first poster to the President of Valletta F.C., Victor Sciriha. Also present were Paul Zammit and Gilbert Agius, the team’s coach and captain respectively.

The commemorative A2 poster shows the Valletta F.C. line-up that won this year’s BOV Premier League together with the club’s officials. It was taken at Ta’ Qali against a backdrop of the team’s supporters. The posters which have been given to the club will be available today at Ta’ Qali during Valletta FC’s final match.

Thanking Bank of Valletta for donating the posters and its support to the National Football leagues, Mr Sciriha said, “We are delighted to have prevailed in this year’s hard-fought championship and to have added another championship trophy to the Club’s roll of honours, which now tallies a total of nineteen championships”.

“Valletta FC is lucky to have very loyal fans that have supported the team both in the winning and in the struggling days. Through this initiative by Bank of Valletta, these supporters will have a souvenir of this triumphant season, which also honours the players who obtained this achievement”, concluded Mr Sciriha.
