Yesterday Maltese Double Trap shooter William Chetcuti had the opportunity to shoot among the best British shooters in the British open selection while he is on a training camp in UK.

He started on the same note like Saturday when he managed a remarkable 49 in the first round of 50 clays.48 in the second round and 44 in the third round,for a total of 141.

He qualified for the barrage finals where he smashed another 46 for a total of 187.

He placed second overall after Tim Kneale with 189.

Steve Walton placed third with 186 and Steve Scott placed fourth with 182.

William is being assisted by his coach Jimmy Bugeja and the MSSF president Savior Portelli trough The Malta Olympic Committee for his preparation for the Beijing Olympics in the coming months.
