“How many times must I tell you the same thing, dear readers? The man just won’t go away.”

This is how Daphne Caruana Galizia started yet another one of her articles in which she tries to denigrate and ridicule outgoing Opposition Leader Alfred Sant (TMID, 15 May).

Well, for Daphne’s sake, it is better if Alfred Sant stays on. Otherwise, she would have nothing to write about.

She seems to have an obsession with the man, as she has dedicated thousands of words about him on this newspaper and its Sunday sister.

What is Daphne going to do when Dr Sant really calls it a day? Is she going to give up? Will we hear more of her?

I wonder. I just wonder.
