With reference to the article “Housing Authority should make use of empty dwellings in Gozo – AD” (TMID, 22 May) the Housing Authority would like to correct the misleading statements made.

Contrary to what is stated in the article in question, the Housing Authority is not going to develop any new project in Gharb. The mentioned planning application has been withdrawn by letter dated 14 May 2008.
