Daphne Caruana Galizia is becoming too predictable for words! Doesn’t she realise she’s boring the pants off everyone? Her continuous vitriolic spin against the Labour Party leader is just so much blathering. First it was Dr Alfred Sant. Now it’s Dr Joseph Muscat. I have absolutely no doubt that if Dr George Abela were to be elected leader (with her help??) his turn would come too – and starting on 8 June.

That will be her first article after the leadership election. Is it possible that she can find nothing more newsworthy in the post-election atmosphere of blatantly broken promises what we are living? She should stick to what that does better: editing magazines. That should keep her in clover for more than the five years she’s banking on should Dr Muscat be elected Labour leader.
