Maltese goalkeeper Justin Haber is expected to join Greek first division club Larissa FC in the next few days.

According to the Greek daily newspaper Sport Day, his current club Heidari has reached agreement over the transfer of the player with Larissa, but nothing has been signed yet.

Contacted by The Malta Independent yesterday, Haber said he was aware of the agreement reached between the two clubs but was awaiting a reply from an English Championship club(still unnamed) with whom he had a trial a few weeks ago.

He added that if nothing happened, then in all probability, he would accept the transfer to Larissa.

Meanwhile it is also known that Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus had made a good offer for his services to Heidari, but the former Floriana, Marsaxlokk and Birkirkara goalie says he prefers playing in Greece rather than moving to Cyprus.

Yesterday, Larissa announced on their official website that they had signed another goalkeeper - Slovenian Dino Seremet on a two-yeas contract. Seremet began his career with Maribor. In 2004 he was transferred to England's Luton Town from where he moved to Doncaster and Tranmere on loan. He arrived in Greece in 2006 for Kerkyra (first division) and last season (2007-08) played for Kallithea (second division).

Haber has beenin Greece for one full season with Heidari and his contract would have expired at the end of next season.
