Pembroke’s Under 16 Section finished the season on a high after winning the Section C decider against Attard to win the title and earning promotion to next season’s Section B, along with Attard.

The two teams won all their matches in their group and drew the match against each other, thus forcing the decider for the title.

During the season, the Pembroke side scored 82 goals and conceded only 18.

The nursery is now receiving applications for the summer football fun school to be held in July/August and registration forms for new boys and girls can be collected from the Pembroke club daily after 6.30pm. One may also call 99221742 for more information.

All training sessions during the summer school will be held on the club’s artificial turf pitches while during the season, sessions will be held on the full size football ground which, at present, is being upgraded with artificial turf and should be completed by the middle of next month.
