On Thursday 5 June, PWD personnel brought a couple of digging machinery to repair pavements at Guze’ Borg Street, Taz-Zwejt, San Gwann.

After one pavement was done, they left the machinery in front of residences for a whole week – they are still there today (a week later) – and work on the other pavements was discontinued.

This is causing inconvenience to the residents and also causes a potential danger to children who may be tempted to play with these vehicles

I have contacted the San Gwann council four times and the Department of Health and Safety in vain – nothing was done to have this machinery removed.
