MOC General Secretary Joseph Cassar (photo) has been named as the Commonwealth Sports Administrator of the Year.

This was announced during the Commonwealth Sports Development Conference which is being held these days in Glasgow.

The city of Glasgow which will organise the 2014 Commonwealth Games is organising the conference within the Commonwealth Games association framework. Seventy one countries are attending this conference and the award attributed to Mr. Cassar is given every two years.
