Ronald Vella has been appointed to take charge of the Mellieha football team.

As a former club player and coach, he returns after serving for the past years in several posts at various Premier League clubs.

Ray `Zazu` Farrugia, the former Under 21 national team and Sliema W. coach will be taking up the post of technical director.

In the forthcoming year, the club will also embark on a new venture in collaboration with Ray `Zazu` Farrugia , to set up one of the regional `Zazu` School of Football at its new synthetic pitch facilities.
