In line with its continued policy of encouraging and promoting tennis for children, the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club is this year embarking on its third Summer Coaching Clinic for children between five and 14 years.

The scope of the Summer Coaching Clinics is to give youngsters a way to relax in a safe and healthy environment after the strenuous schooling months.

The training course consists of ten sessions and will be held every Thursday evening between 6pm and 8.00 pm starting on 26 June. Classes will be divided into three categories according to age group, from 5 to7 years, from 8 to11 and from 12 to 14.

At the end of the course, participants will be awarded certificates of attendance.

Those interested to enrol are kindly advised to register at the VLTC (Tel: 21696978). This may be done from Mondays to Fridays after 6pm and Sunday mornings from 9am to 12.00. Vacancies are limited and applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Closing date for entries is Sunday 22 June.
