I refer to the letter Heavy Vehicles (TMID, 14 June), by Alexander Libreri of San Gwann.

Allow me to inform you that it transpired that the equipment mentioned in the letter does not belong to the Construction and Maintenance Department. Moreover, kindly note that the department is not responsible for the works being carried out in San Gwann.

For this reason the Construction and Maintenance Department referred the case to San Gwann local council for action from their end.
