The price of all kinds of fuel will be rising sharply as from today, Enemalta Corporation said yesterday.

In a statement issued late yesterday afternoon, the coproration said it has recommended to the Malta Resources Authority that the price of fuel goes up as from today.

The price of unleaded fuel will go up by e0.107 from e1.090 to e1.197 per litre, that of lead replacement fuel by the same amount to e1.267 per litre, while the price of diesel will shoot up by e0.103 to e1.206 per litre.

The price of kerosene will go up from e1.177 to e1.296 per litre, and that of light heating oil from e0.824 to e0.933.

Enemalta Corporation said that it is committed to keep the price of unleaded petrol, lead replacement fuel and diesel until the end of the year.
