I refer to the article “Naxxar tragedy: Fundraising activities by the dozen, but no sight of money” (TMID, 18 June).

If there really exists goodwill in this country, I would suggest that all village feasts will be cancelled, for at least one year, and all the costs saved donated to the victims.
