The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Louis Galea, yesterday visited the newly opened Nationalist Party headquarters, where he was received by Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi, and PN secretary general Joe Saliba.
Dr and Mrs Galea met with employees working at the premises, and with officials of the PN.
Dr Galea was given a copy of the key to the main door of the headquarters, with Dr Gonzi describing the gesture as a symbol that the PN was open to ideas and suggestions, which with work would be achieved.
The Speaker said the political parties would be an instrument through which the country would live in peace and democracy.
