Why don’t the experts answer Roderick Galdes (Wind power, tomorrow’s options today, TMID, 12 January)?

Shallow waters can be used for wind turbines in Malta.

Why does the government seem to be dismissing this type of alternative energy?

Denmark has such type of wind farms.

The Danes also swim with the turbines in the background!

Sweden, Canada and the US have been using waterless toilets for over 15 years and we waste precious water when most of our country is becoming drier every year.

There is no real encouragement for the citizen to invest in alternative energy.
