President Eddie Fenech Adami leaves Malta today for an official visit to the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahariya on the invitation of Col. Muammar Al Gaddafi, Leader of the First September Revolution of the Libyan Arab Jamahariya.

The President will hold official talks with Col. Gaddafi and will meet Dr Baghadadi Al Mahmoudi, Secretary of the General People’s Congress.

Accompanying the President are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tonio Borg and the Minister for Social Policy, John Dalli.

The President and his delegation will return to Malta tomorrow.

Dr George Hyzler will be the Acting President.
