Looking at you in this photo, makes me think... Now I think I know, what you tried to say to all around you. This picture was taken at my daughter’s wedding and it really means a lot to me and to my family.

Melita, you looked so happy and charming that night on 17 May, that I can hardly believe that you might have sensed that the end was so near... yet you have smiled and made everyone around you happy too. What perhaps you have tried to say to everybody that night, was to be united and love and stay together. As a member singing in The A.L.P.S. choir, you certainly managed to keep the group alive.

You sang with great love and flair and you expressed with your gentle voice the inner feelings of a refined and happy person. Memories of you, dear colleague, shall never fade away.

That summer evening when you suddenly escaped from us all, leaves us with many lovely memories of a fine lady who always wore that happy smile... Perhaps we’ll listen now deep down in our hearts, to what exactly you have been trying to say to each and everyone of us. Now, we can understand what we have missed but will still love you more. The A.L.P.S. choir shall never be the same again as we are already missing your voice with the primi... That is why we shall come and sing for you our last farewell, thinking deep down in our hearts that the church singing will make you come close to each member of the choir, that we may cherish your thought and continue to remember your happy face always with a special smile.

To your family we offer our deepest sympathy. May the Lord Grant to them the courage that they may continue to remember you, dear Melita, for all that you have done for them during your life.

Rest in peace in the Lord dear Melita and pray for us that we may some day meet again and sing yet again together the famous Hurrah...Hurrah!
