June 1977 was the date when a group of hotel management students graduated from the Malta Polytechnic at Msida (today the Gian Frangisk Abela Junior Lyceum); alot has happened both in terms of a changed tourism market and industry as well as in terms of lifestyles and socially. The photo shows some of those who made up this “Class of ‘77” and this may serve to jog the memory of those who were studying at the MCAST Polytechnic in those days!

We are planning a re-union of students, lecturers and even administrative staff who were at the Hotel and Catering Department between 1975 and 1977.
