From Mr A. Agius Muscat

The three Mikallef-Buhagiar sisters together with their father settled in London when they moved from Alexandria, Egypt in 1957. They welcomed many visitors from Malta who cared to call at their place in south London.

On their passing away, they proved to be most generous towards selected, deserving Maltese cultural non-profit organisations.

The eldest, Karmen, is more than familiar to a number of people in Malta through various initiatives she took while on her annual visits to the land of her ancestors.

Their generosity deserves to be remembered through an informative publication.
