I have just read your item with regard to TV aerials (Odds and ends, TMID, 6 October).

We are in our 80s and we had cable TV. But as soon as I found someone to fix my aerial I gave cable the elbow. This is a lot cheaper. You don’t get increased prices per month and poor customer service such as when you are kept on the line each time you phone with a problem.

Perhaps I can give you something more important to complain about. Please come down Main Street, Zabbar when we have a river each time it rains.

And when I went to the Zabbar post office two fans were not working and it was a hot house.
