The top posts of the Maltese Olympic Committee will be uncontested at the forthcoming elections which will be held during the quadrennial Elective Council meeting on 12 November.

Mr Justice Lino Farrugia Sacco, president, Julian Pace Bonello, deputy president, and Joe Cassar, secretary general, are uncontested.

Also uncontested among the directors are David Azzopardi (Finance), Pippo Psaila (Sport) and Charles Camenzuli (Public Relations).

There will have to be an election between Dr Kirill Micallef Stafrace and Vincent Scicluna for the post of Director of Marketing, while ten persons are proposed for the election to fill the remaining six places, though the winner of the election already mentioned (Director of Marketing) will withdraw his nomination.

The ten persons, from among whom six will be elected as members, are Dr Lucienne Attard, Marthese Caruana, Anthony Chircop, Mark Cutajar, Envic Galea, Dr Kirill Micallef Stafrace, Adele Muscat, Laurie Pace, Vincent Scicluna and Marie Therese Zammit.
