Valerie Borg’s appreciation of her uncle (TMID, 14 October) really depicts the very true characteristics of our departed dear friend Edgar Pace.

His sudden demise has left a vacuum among his many friends he used to meet practically everyday in St Julian’s. Life is going to be rather dull now that he is no longer with us.

Edgar was a first class orator on diverse topics. He was loyal, above all, to his family to whom he gave unconditional love and care. We are sure that his memory will long live in the heart of all who knew him.

Our very sincere condolences go to his wife Evelyn, his son Kevin, his daughter Moira and the rest of his family.

May he rest in peace.
