The organiser of the Grand Prix de Malte Classic, Thierry Giovannoni, has announced that the Grand Prix de Malte for classic cars has had to be postponed.

In a brief statement, he said: “Due to adverse global economic circumstances, the Grand Prix de Malte Classic planned from October 29 to November 2, 2008 will have to be postponed to a date to be confirmed by the organiser in 2009.”
