I do not often read Daphne Caruana Galizia’s contribution to your paper.

Every time I read her I realise that her prime motivation for her behaviour so obvious in her writings is the need to feel superior to everybody else. Character and personal assassination is not my idea of a good read. If it happened once it could have been by chance, twice could be a coincidence but three times would definitely be called an enemy action.

In fact I would rather read of how Jack the Ripper mutilated his victims than anything DCG has to write. Her writings are more often than not aimed at attacking the Opposition Leader, be he Dr Alfred Sant, Joseph Muscat or Moses himself.

Indeed it must be a foul mind who has not one teeny-weeny nice thing to say about anyone or anything concerning the Labour Party. Last Thursday in all probability she must have angered even a Pollyanna syndrome sufferer.

Her attack on Joseph Muscat (Notes from the circus ring, TMID, 16 October) was spiteful and thoroughly uncalled for. With malice aforethought she called Joseph Muscat “Andy Pandy” plus elaborating on what she described as evaporating hair. What kind of person does not perceive that people’s names should not be words or adjectives! What kind of journalist demeans herself so low as to criticise someone personally and without remorse?

Fool that she is, she does not realise that violating someone personally is the last refuge of the incompetent. As for liking Austin Gatt’s style so much, so much so that she wished he contested the election in the constituency where she lived, there the feeling is mutual.

I too wish I could see less of arrogance personified and any sausage roll that I may eat while listening to Dr Gatt as did DCG would probably make me retch.

When one comes to analyse the DCG writings, even the simple minded Mr Bean would realise that her prime motivation is that the lady has a grudge towards anybody in the Labour stronghold.

My my, what self destruction to live with.
