Three minutes later Gudja restored their two-goal lead through DALZIER ZAMMIT from a cross by Elton Bugeja and in the 90th minute Ghaxaq were reduced to ten players when Noel Bugeja was sent off for a second caution.

Three minutes into injury-time, an incident between Daniel Galea (Ghaxaq) and Joseph Catania (Gudja) led to both players being shown the red card.
