Mario Dalli, waterpolo international referee, has been appointed by the LEN to officiate in the 2nd round of the LEN Trophy that will be held in Novi Sad in Serbia. The matches started yesterday and will come to an end on Sunday.

The assigned delegate for this tournament will be Mr. Racine of Switzerland. The other three referees accompanying Dalli will be Rottuno of Italy, Ryckart of Belgium and Reemet of the Netherlands.

Participating Teams will be Vougliagmeni of Greece, SC Ssalgueros of Portugal, Steaua Bucharest of Romania and hosts VK Voivodina of Serbia.

Meanwhile, Massimo Angileri , Peter Balzan and Mario Dalli waterpolo LEN and FINA international referees, will be going to Patras, in Greece, for the FINA waterpolo referees clinic that will be held between 7 and 15 November.

This clinic with examination is held every two years for referees that are selected by their federation to participate in this clinic. These referees are then picked up by FINA to whistle in important tournaments that are held during the year.
