The highly anticipated iPhone 3G is now available to all Vodafone customers. Depending on the choice of plan, iPhone 3G is available for free for the 8GB model and at E85 for the 16GB model.

iPhone 3G combines all the revolutionary features of iPhone with 3G networking that is twice as fast as the first generation iPhone, with built-in GPS for expanded location based mobile services, and iPhone 2.0 software, which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

It combines three products in one – a revolutionary phone, a widescreen iPod, and a breakthrough Internet device with rich HTML email and web browsing.

Post-paid customers can choose between Vodafone’s new iPhone40, iPhone50, iPhone70 and iPhone100 post-paid packages to get the iPhone 3G at special prices, with great tariffs for voice, SMS and data. Post-paid customers will be offered 600MB data, as well as up to 1,000 SMSs included in the price of the relevant iPhone 3G package. iPhone 3G shall also be available on pre-paid starting from E515. Further discounts on iPhone 3G shall be offered to companies and professionals who sign-up to an iSmart plan.

An iPhone 3G open weekend ends today. All Vodafone retail outlets and Vodafone exclusive iPhone resellers will be open from 9am to 1pm today.
