Reference is made to the weekly contribution “Odds & Ends” (TMID, 10 November) wherein the Department of Information was criticised for issuing a media release carrying only a speech by Kate Gonzi, the Prime Minister’s wife, at the inauguration in London of premises bought by Puttinu Cares Fund.

It is confirmed that the Department of Information has not issued the media release referred to. Therefore your ‘snippet’ under this column is incorrect.
