For the past years the Ghaqda Hbieb tal-Presepju (Malta) was very concerned about the omission of the Christmas Crib in decorations sponsored by the government or its departments for the Christmas Season.

This year it has been noticed that statues depicting figures directly connected with the Crib, are being set up in prominent places around Malta, such as traffic islands and sidewalks. Being the main promoters of the Cribs as the fulcrum of Christmas festivities in Malta, the Ghaqda Hbieb tal-Presepju (Malta) would like to express its satisfaction about the introduction of these statues and also congratulate whoever came up with the idea.

May this initiative help to further promote the Crib traditions in our islands.
