I would like to express my gratitude to the council of Birkirkara led by mayor Michael Fenech Adami.

At long last now the long awaited project of Bwieraq/Holy Cross Street, is complete and functioning. I must point out that only this council led by Mr Fenech Adami acted on the promises made.

A special thank you is duly merited to George DeBattista, one of the councillors who has always supported our cause and was instrumental in that the project started and became finalised.

Now, thanks to this project, we can all live in our homes safely, without any fear of flooding in our areas.
