I am not going to continue this tit-for-tat charade between myself and Mr J. Martinelli (TMID, 3 December). It will get us nowhere and unlike him, my time is precious as I get on with my life.

However, I cannot refrain from thanking him wholeheartedly for the wonderful time I had, laughing my head off, at his expense, with my friends, my colleagues, my relatives and all those who know me here in Malta. His way of depicting moi, Franco Farrugia, as a “red”, was simply too hilarious for words.
