Substantial Increase in viewer levels

Where’s Everybody scooped six Malta Television Awards for its programmes and other audio visual products. At the same time, the latest Media Warehouse Survey confirmed that all of WE’s television programmes registered a substantial increase in audience levels.

Bondiplus, hosted by Lou Bondi, won the Best Current Affairs Programme Award, an award that came within days of the programme registering a 63 per cent increase in its audience ratings as reported in the latest Media Warehouse Survey.

Xarabank, the programme with the highest viewership for 10 consecutive years, took home its third consecutive Best Talk Show Programme Award in as many years. Simultaneously, the programme registered a 26.3 per cent increase in its audience ratings.

Popular daily game show programme Deal or No Deal hosted by Pablo Micallef increased its rating by a whopping 225.6 per cent in the ‘favourite programme during the week’ category and a 66.7 per cent increase its audience rating.

Where’s Everbody’s summer programme ‘Pjazza’ won the Best Entertainment Programme Award while its winter counterpart, ‘Hadd Ghalik’ increased its rating in the ‘favourite programme’ category by 346.2 per cent and its viewership by 162.5 per cent.

In total, Where’s Everybody was awarded six Malta Television Awards in the following categories: Best Entertainment Programme, Best Current Affairs programme, Best Talk-show programme, Best Opening Sequence, Best Male Actor in a leading role as well as Best Comedy Programme.

Television Malta won the TV Station of the Year Award on the strength of winning a total of 17 awards. Where’s Everybody is proud to have contributed six awards to PBS’ success.
