The Malta Union of Teachers will be holding a rally for members today week.

In a statement, the MUT said a very important rally is to be held at the Teachers’ Institute, Valletta on Friday 9 January at 4.30 pm.

This rally is open to: All supply categories including Supply teachers, supply Kindergarten Assistants and Supply Learning Support Assistants. All regular kindergarten assistants are also called on to attend.

The agenda includes: Conditions of work of all the Supply Categories, conditions of work of all Kindergarten Assistants, progression from KGA’s I to KGA’s 2, call for applications for KGA’s 1 and 2, lack of call for applications including all KGA’s and LSA’s, conditions of work for LSA’s in possession of a Certificate awarded by the Faculty of Education and conditions of work concerning KGA’s with a substantial number of years experience.
