With regard to the removal of trees from in front of the Auberge de Castille (TMID, 7 January), I suggest also to remove all those palm trees in front of the same auberge and all the eyesores, including the monument of Manwel Dimech.

Let’s see Castille Place as an open space. It will be much different and beautiful. I also suggest to remove all trees that are in front of all the bastions from Porte de Bombes inwards to Floriana, so that the fortified cities will be much grandious.
