Let us all rejoice.

We give thanks to our Prime Minister, he who understood well what is the meaning of unity by choosing Dr George Abela to be the next President of Malta.

Dr Abela is a person of integrity, a person whose record is unblemished, a person who can rise above politics. He may be called a man for all seasons. Humble but honest in every way. He does not beat around the bush.

Sound principles and honesty make him a man who will unite a nation.

We look forward to a new era when we will be united in our political diversity. We shall move on with courage and hope that now and in future we’ll be working together for the love of our country and will be united in our efforts to make today better than yesterday and tomorrow a brighter future for ourselves and future generations.
