I guess the real truth is starting to show up. This time a member of the detention service was slightly injured when he was hit by a shaving foam can thrown by a migrant!

This time it was only a shaving foam can. What will it be the next time? I hate to keep harping on this subject but this is a very well-organised invasion sent over to Malta and the rest of Western Europe for a reason. I hope I’m wrong, but time will tell.

Africa has more riches than all of the other continents put together, gold, oil and other resources. If the rest of the world wants to help these people why not educate them in their own land.

Foreign Minister Tonio Borg said that 71 of these migrants were turned into businessmen and returned to their homes and are doing well. He also said that Malta represented an unintended stopover for most migrants. In that case why is Malta holding on to them?

If the journey was not intended to end in Malta why not send them on their way so they can reach their destination? Is Malta holding these people hostage, against their will? Isn’t that imprisonment and denying them their civil rights?

How come they don’t seek the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, etc now that’s where the riches are. If Malta was meant to be a stop over, the idea is not working too well. What a joke.

The Maltese don’t want them here and they don’t want to be in Malta. How ironic is that? Something is not right but nobody seems to want to find out the why and the how these emigrants are ending up coming to Malta. It can’t be the nice beaches and the nice weather. I say to our Foreign Minister, give them back their boats and let these poor people continue on to reach their intended destination. A detention centre does not make a better place one wants to settle in.
