Betsson Malta Ltd donated 1000 Euro in support of the Nursery of Floriana FC during a visit of the training grounds on 24 January. The nursery currently caters for 230 circa youngsters aged 5 to 16.

For Betsson, a Swedish online gaming company which currently employs 120 persons in Malta alone and is listed on the Swedish stock-exchange, sports are not only the core of the business but a vital component of company values.

Mr Thomas Kalita, CEO, Betsson Malta Ltd emphasized the importance and value of sports and particularly team-sports like football which foster discipline and teamwork and are important qualities in all aspects of life.

These life-skills learned young are likely to have a very positive impact on young individuals as well as society in general.
