The Westin Dragonara Resort is proud to announce the promotion of Francis Busuttil to that of Director of Revenue Management and that of Edward Bonello to Director of Sales and Marketing, both forming part of the Westin Executive Team

Mr Busuttil’s career in the tourism industry dates back to 1968 when he joined Hilton Malta as a porter and during his nineteen years there was promoted to a number of positions, concluding his job with Hilton as Rooms Division Manager, responsible for personnel. He then moved on the Holiday Inn where he also held various managerial positions that strengthened his tourism background. In 1997, Francis joined The Westin Dragonara Resort as Director of Rooms. His career at the Westin involved various roles and the most recent was that of Revenue Manger. As of January 2009, he has been promoted to Director of Revenue Management.

Mr Edward Bonello has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing which is also recognised as an Executive Team Member position. Edward possesses a Diploma in Hotel Administration from the Institute of Tourism Studies and a Degree in B.Com.(Hons) Tourism Management from the University of Malta. Edward has several years of experience in Sales and Marketing and has occupied various roles in other 5* hotels in Malta. Edward joined The Westin Dragonara Resort in June 2003 as a Sales Manager and was promoted to Director of Sales in January 2007.
