The Malta Drag Racing Association, Motordrome and Deejay Banana are once again organising the MDRA with this year’s beneficiaries being The Eden & Razzett Foundation.
The event is to take place on Tuesday 31 March, at Hal-Far, and will mainly consist of an exhibition of modified cars together with Drag Racing with lights and timing and the Modify It DB Drag and Bass Race. Also Melita Mobile will be there as sponsors with their mobile shop.
You may be aware that the newly-merged Eden and Razzett Foundation is a non-profit organisation that, for over 20 years, have been supporting the local community with the aim of enhancing the quality of lives of thousands of disabled persons through a range of professional services, including therapeutic, educational, recreational and inclusive programmes.
The Foundation is obliged by statute to make every effort to raise funds that supplement the income that derives from the Government and the parents of enrolled students. These funds would together amount to about 65% of the Foundation’s total expenditure; therefore the remaining 35% has to come from marketing and fundraising campaigns such as this one.
This year’s invitation is being extended to clubs to participate in this event, in support of the Foundation, while encouraging all car enthusiasts to attend and enjoy the day.
