On Wednesday, 18 February, at around 8.15am, access to the outer lane of the road leading from the traffic lights in the vicinity of the Corinthia Palace Hotel towards Sta.Venera/the Qormi Bypass was blocked to traffic because a certain bright spark saw fit to allow the planting of shrubs to take place along the centre strip at the same time that hundreds of motorists were on their way to work. Would it make much difference to this great thinker if in future the activity were to start at 9am say, once the rush hour is over?
