If Gunner Matthew Psaila were alive he would be 20 years old today, 23 February. I had known Matthew since 1995, God bless his soul, when my mother and I came to live in Ta’ Xbiex. Matthew was a good friend and he liked the army. I used to see him and talked with him many times about his much-loved army life. Now Matthew will be celebrating his birthday with the Lord.

My condolences go to his mother Marion; his Father Twanny; his brother Joseph and all his family.
